Bunny Snuggle Blanket  /  Elephant Snuggle Blanket

Some fabrics shed more quickly that others due to the way they are constructed and we work with suppliers to ensure we chose and use fabrics which have least likelihood to shed.

It is generally considered that anything with the pile the length of Bunny Snuggle Blanket is not harmful as the fluff that comes off will not clump or knot up enough to cause a choking hazard. It may be ingested but would not cause harm as we only use AZO free and non-toxic dyes.

There is guidance for clothing, and the length of this pile is shorter than the guidance for clothing so would be safe wnough to be worn.

This item is additionally tested as a toy which is one of the most rigorous standards for children’s items. The length of pile (or as they define it “fuzz”) is not a consideration in UK and EU toy testing – because they do not believe it to be a safety concern – this is why you have toys on the market with a much longer with long pile fur/plush. As a business we always strive to go over and above legislation, so just because it isn’t something we have to adhere legally to please be assured that we consider all outcomes and regularly raise the standards above the legislation – hence as stated why we use fabric that sheds less than most and stick to a shorter pile whilst still offering the cuddly item a child would want to play with.
