We aim for all our items to be machine washable, wherever possible at 40C for the rough and tumble of everyday life. Some products cannot handle this and we mark the care label with what they can perform to. For example, our lambswool knitwear - this is a natural product and doesn't like high temperatures and vigorous washes. 

Please always check the care label when dealing with shrinkage and try to understand how a customer cared for their item. They very few items we do that are dry clean only are clearly described as so online and on the care label.
