We use high quality fabrics with good stretch that if looked after correctly will last appropriately. We recommend to customers to always rinse their swimwear immediately after use to help prolong the life of the garments. If customers are returning swimsuits for lycra degradation it is because they have not rinsed them quickly and well enough and it is not faulty.

Please note that all swimwear will fade in sunlight (especially also with saltwater or chlorine). Our fabrics are tested to withstand high levels of sun and chlorine levels so if this has happened its usually because the garment has been used intensively, not been rinsed enough or the mix of chemicals at the swimming pool is too strong and 99% of the time it is not a faulty garment (We are unable to replicate these conditions in our tests).

Our Swim Nappies styles are designed so that they contain a polyurethane waterproof barrier which sits between the outer fabric and the soft cotton lining. The elastic around the legs, even though it sits comfortably is purposefully tighter than normal pants, together with the barrier it prevents ‘accidents’ from leaking out! Please note that it will not prevent liquids from escaping but will keep solids in. It will need emptying and rinsing after out after use.

Most local authority swimming pools have restrictions on what type of swim nappies babies can wear in their pools. JoJo Swim Nappies are highly recommended in some pools for their functionality and style however most UK pools now demand that babies can only wear a 2-layer system & in particular the brand Splash About’s Happy Nappy which we stock in stores and online.
